Vendor Rules
1. All vendors and artists must complete, sign, and return an official Really Rad Weekend Vendor contract within 10 days of approval to reserve their booth or table.
2. Payment for Vendor and Artists space is due 10 days after the approval of the completed contract. Upon receiving your completed contract an invoice will be emailed to you containing a link to pay via PayPal. If payment is not received within 10 days the space will be passed to a waitlisted individual.
3. All Really Rad Weekend rules must be understood and followed to the best of your ability as a vending artist or vendor. Failure to do so may result in your, and your items, immediate removal from the vendor hall for the remaining duration of the convention.
4. The use of adhesives or posting of any materials on the floors, walls, or any other surface is strictly prohibited. Any damages caused to any surfaces by adhesives, tacks, or other hanging materials will be charged to the responsible parties, and posted materials will be removed immediately. This includes anything attached to vendors' tables. Please also refrain from otherwise defacing hotel property.
5. Vendors and Artists are required to attend the event for the entirety of both November 12th and 13th.
6. All Attendees, Vendors, and Artists must be clear of the vendor hall no later than 6:30 pm Saturday, as the doors will be locked overnight.
7. Really Rad Weekend strictly prohibits the sale of firearms and alcohol.
8. Only sealed, packaged, non-perishable food items may be sold by vendors at Really Rad Weekend, such as Japanese candies, sodas, or snacks.
9. Non-projectile weapons may be sold by vendors at Really Rad Weekend. Any weapon, real or not, which in any way fires or shoots a projectile, is prohibited from the convention grounds. This includes all firearms, paintball, airsoft, or BB guns, bows and arrows, crossbows, catapults, slingshots, etc. Non-projectile weapons may be sold by vendors to any customer over the age of 18, provided that it is fully packaged and immediately taken out of the convention space by the purchaser. It is the responsibility of the vendor/artist to ID all customers purchasing blunt OR bladed weapons.
10. Adult-themed material is permitted to be sold at Really Rad Weekend. All adult themed material must be covered and marked as such at the vendor's table, and we ask that it is only displayed or sold to customers over the age of 18. Adult-themed material includes pornographic literature, photography, images, DVDs, and comics, as well as any other sexually explicit content. It is the responsibility of the vendor/artist to ID all customers purchasing adult-themed materials.
11. All booths and artist tables will be set up ahead of time by Really Rad Weekend and the hotel, and we ask that they not be moved, in order to easily comply with fire codes. Vendors are permitted to set up their displays within the confines of their space however they see fit, so long as it does not conflict with the rules of Really Rad Weekend. .
12. Vendors and Artists are responsible for obtaining all licenses and remitting their own taxes. Really Rad Weekend is not responsible for how you conduct your business
13. Really Rad Weekend does not permit the subletting of booths in the Dealer’s Hall/ Artist’s Alley. If caught subletting booth space, both vendors will be escorted off property and will not be refunded.
14. The vendors/artists shall be responsible for providing their own insurance (if you wish) in order to protect from damage, loss, theft, harm or injury to the vendor or their property. Neither Really Rad Weekend nor the hotel is responsible for obtaining insurance on the behalf of the vendor/artist. The vendor/artist is solely responsible for their own company, exhibited goods, materials, samples, property, and associates.
15. Vendors/artists are required to keep their space clean and not cause permanent damage to any of the tables, chairs, or surrounding walls and carpet. All displays, chairs, tables, and merchandise must be maintained and stored within the vendor's/artist’s designated area unless permission is received from other vendors.
16. Really Rad Weekend forbids the sale of any pirated, burned, stolen, or bootlegged materials. These items include, but are not limited to: bootlegged videos; fan-subbed videos; burned or bootlegged audio CDs, VCDs, or DVDs; burned or bootlegged video games (regardless of system), stolen artwork, etc. If any vendor/artist or their associates should be found in possession of these products, they shall be ejected from the convention with no refund. Really Rad Weekend reserves the right to inspect and/or remove all questionable materials at any time during the convention or set up.
17. Booth and table packages do not include electricity. Electrical service options must be requested on the contract for an additional fee.
18. Selling or giving away additional badges to outside parties is strictly prohibited and doing so is a violation of your contract. Badges are solely for vendors and artists at the show staffing a booth or table.
19. Vendors and Artists may set up on Friday, November 11th from 5pm to 9pm. All vendors must be set up by 9:45 am November 12th.
20. All merchandise, equipment, and materials must be removed from site no later than 7pm on Sunday, November 13th.
21. All sales of Vendor Booths and Artist Tables are final. No refunds will be issued.
